Officers advise residents to stay safe when opening doors to strangers
Kent Police is advising residents to stay safe following reports of distraction burglars posing as police officers.
Detectives are currently investigating eight reports that all describe men who identify themselves as police officers before entering the homes of elderly residents and searching their properties for valuables.
The most recent incident was reported at a property in Blackman Close, Hoo, Rochester, between 7pm and 7.30pm on Tuesday 24 January 2017.
In response to residents and to improve our communication with parishioners, the parish council are now detailing all future proposed planning applications on its agendas, which are placed on the village notice boards and the Parish Council website. The full details for each planning application in the parish can be viewed on Gravesham Borough Council’s website at:- http://www.gravesham.gov.uk/home/planning-and-building/view-planning-app...
