FIRE HYDRANTS are used by the fire and rescue services to supply water for firefighting. These are the statutory fire hydrants you can see around the parish. They are owned, installed and maintained by Kent's five water companies. Fire hydrants can be mainly found on pavements but can also be found on the road or in nearby public spaces, such as grass verges. If you spot a defect with a fire hydrant in the parish then PLEASE REPORT IT!!! See the attached for details on how problems with fire hydrants can be reported.
Saturday 11th November - 10.50am - A Short Act of Remembrance at the War Memorial on Meopham Green including 2 minutes silence.
Sunday 12th November - 3.00pm - A Service of Remembrance on Meopham Green with refreshments to be served in the Cricket Pavilion.
All are very welcome at either of these services.
