Meopham Parish Council owns and manages various areas around the village including:

  • Judson's Recreation Ground and Judson's Pavilion
  • Culverstone Green, Edmunds Green, Fowlerstone Green,  Harvel Green and the Pond, Hook Green, Melliker Green, Meopham Green, Pitfield Green and Priestwood Green, 
  • Southdown Shaw Allotments (Managed by Meopham Allotments Association)
  • Pitfield Green Public Toilets

The Parish Council is also a statutory consultee for all planning applications in the parish.

We also run or are involved in various events in the parish such as Picnic on the Green and Remembrance Day at the War Memorial for the benefit of Meopham residents.

Election Briefing for all prospective candidates on 13th March 2019

Gravesham Borough Council are holding a briefing session on the elections specifically for prospective parish candidates on Wednesday 13th March at 6.15pm a the Civic Centre in Gravesend.  The briefing session will run through the electoral timetable, the nomination arrangements and spending limits amongst other subjects.  It will provide attendees the opportunity to ask any questions that they may have.
