What is it?
Event: Gravesham Volunteers Fair 2017
Date: Saturday 16th September
Venue: St George’s Church, Church Street, Gravesend, DA11 0DJ
The event is to celebrate and promote volunteering. It is FREE for organisations and FREE for visitors.
It is a chance for communty groups, charities and voluntary sector organisations working in Gravesham to have a stall to showcase what they do, network with each other, give out information and advice, celebrate their volunteers and potentially find new volunteers!
And it’s a chance for Gravesham residents to pop in and speak directly to 30 plus organisations under one roof, find out what’s going on in their community and how to get involved.

We are asking organisations to nominate volunteers for a certificate of recognition to be presented by The Gravesham Mayor Cllr Harold Craske so we can celebrate their efforts towards the end of the event.
Who am I?
I am funded to organise volunteers fairs and awards presentations across Kent as part of the Stronger Kent Communities Programme,
a new consortium made up of voluntary sector organisations including Volunteer Centres across Kent (NW Kent Volunteer Centre is a partner), which offers a raft of projects to support the voluntary sector such as Volunteers Fairs and Awards, training programmes, funding advice and more.
Gravesham Volunteers Fair 2017 is made possible with the support of local partners. So far, these include St George's Church, which is sponsoring the venue, and Kent County Councillor Lauren Sullivan, who will sponsor our printed flyers.
