Pop Up Cafe - Harvel

Great community spirit was shown in Harvel last Friday when the Action for Rural Communities Campervan got stuck in traffic on the M20 due to an accident and didn't make it for the event at Harvel Village Hall.  We are very pleased to report that residents rallied round, lead by Sally Smith and managed to arrange their own pop up cafe at the village hall car park.  See photo below.

Thank you all residents who are helping to make this monthly event a success.  Action for Rural Communities in Kent have now confirmed that due to the events success, they will visit Harvel for 3 more dates.  The day has now changed to a Thursday and the dates are as follows:-

Thursday August 17th @ 10.30 am

Thursday September 14th @ 10.30 am

Thursday October 12th @ 10.30 am

Please help to spread the word to anyone who you feel may be interested and like to get out and meet other people whilst enjoying a coffee and slice of cake.   The pop up cafe is very relaxed and friendly and has proved very popular over the last few months so please join us on the 17th August.
